Parbati Shrestha of Balkumari Kathmandu needs a new comfortable wheelchair. She was hard hit by the 2015 great Nepal earthquake and her both legs had to be cut off. She lives with her husband and a son.
She has one from the charity organization but that one was given in 2015. She has repaired the wheelchair many times and feels that she need new one. She has a second one as a gift but that hurts her and she does not want to use it.
Any one wishing to donate her a Wheelchair is really appreciated. She needs to move around the room and outside for fresh air. She has been living in a wheelchair for 6 years now. Purna drives a taxi in the city as a profession. He has two daughters and a wife. Corona Virus 2nd wave spread in Nepal and the government shutdown everything for two months. Purna forced to stop driving and he stops earning, no food to cook for kids. Kind people donated money for the food and we delivered it to their home, that included rice, potato, cooking oil, meat, cooking gas, beans, sugar, soaps, noodles, dry food and others. The family is happy. They have food now and are thankful for the kind unknown person who made it possible.
Food Relief
Kumari works in collecting sand in a nearby river in Jhapa and lives in a small hut with her neighbors. She is a widow of 55 years old. Her painful single life started after her husband died due to throat cancer in 2007. Since she does not have any other forms of income, the river is the only work place where she deeps herself to waist level every day and picks up sands and stone and sells it to a truck who comes to collect and pays her cash. She can’t work now because trucks can’t come to collect due to lock down and she does not have money to buy food. Through the financial blessing we receive, we buy and deliver food to the poor, widow, and single mother like Kumari. We are thankful for kind people and their help to buy food for people who truly need help.
We will be giving away food relief supplies to the poor, hungry, widow and single mothers like Purna and Kumari. We give food and say God Loves You. Believing in the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ, Give and it shall be given unto you, I would like to request you to please join with us to share the blessing of food to the hungry. We have poor people waiting for food.
Let our prayer come to pass as we pray every time during the supper, Lord, as we eat this food, let everyone who are hungry have food to eat as well.
